Poetry
The below are selected poems that I have written from January 2025 - october 2025.
These were used for inspiration when writing my solo piece, some were used more than others.
Love’s Paradigm
Thinking of you fills my heart with showers,
Melting in the sun of your beaming gaze;
One foot seeds the growth of wildflowers
As I move on Gaia’s frozen soil grays.
The falls of myself lays current’s love,
Floating on the gentle petal-lined stream;
A dreamlike state flows as a happy dove,
Awakens to your beautiful eye’s gleam.
Then the moon-bow we see on a night’s full,
A rare and odd thing one can discover;
Stars in the sky envelop our souls’ pull,
Makes me think you’re more than just a lover.
All to say in the beauty of our time,
My fondness for you is love’s paradigm.
thistles spreading
Thistles spreading and sunflowers growing,
A remarkable beauty doth Time lead;
As the Sun awakens the Night, glowing,
The mix of hues cures heartbreak’s sullen creed.
A cloud
Softness around us,
A cloud of pure happiness.
I really love you.
Born again
My heart won’t calm down.
From the sight of you, I die
And am born again.
Beguiled crystals
Beguiled crystals, two pairs in a gaze,
Makes Time blind upon thy chestnut brown hue;
With a radiant, amber lining maze,
Flickering fires, my essence burns through.
Iris above sends a message to start:
Echoes reflect from the spherical flame,
To a multifaceted prismic heart;
Seven parts shining around with no tame.
Flutt’ring within, painted ladies amassed,
In Caledonia one, two creeping shown;
The colours spin me Time’s Burr Order past,
And lands me amongst the purple deaf tone.
Then guided towards you, still frozen in place,
We welcome Time now, as we it embrace.
invisible threads
Unexpected –
Invisible threads leading me to you;
A connection beyond heart and body:
The fluttering in my chest,
The need to go far,
The want to be with you.
Fleeting moments
The world is so beautiful,
Filled with fleeting moments.
Like when we kissed yesterday
And the sun shined in between us
And the light danced around my soul a bit.
Similar to my ring
And how the light reflects off of it,
Splitting into mini balls of light
With the occasional rainbow.
That is the closest imagery I can think of
To describe how it felt.
Not literally
Laying on your shoulder
And you kissing my head
Literally made my heart explode.
a field of wildflowers
I would equate this feeling to running
In a field of wildflowers
On a sunny day
While in a long, flowy dress.
And then seeing a dandelion
And making a wish,
Watching as the seeds move through the air.
Reflections
Looking into your eyes –
It feels like those little rainbows
That fill the room
When the sun hits a glass prism
And reflects everywhere.
